DELIVERY INFORMATION:
JUNGLE GYM delivery times is around 2-3 weeks, depending on postcodes. PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE CORONA VIRUS SITUATION, THIS MIGHT CHANGE DUE TO GOVERNMENT MEASURES, TRANSPORT DELAYS OR RE-STOCKING ISSUES. No dates are guaranteed.
The Jungle Gym / Hy Land range is delivered directly from the UK stockists. You will be contacted in advance by the delivery company to arrange details; currently, the delivery company is contacting customers by EMAIL. If you don’t receive an email within 2 weeks, please let us know.
The driver might ring you the day before delivery (sometimes in the evening) to give you a time slot, and can call you an hour before delivery if you request so.
Due to Covid19 they might not request you to be at home or sign for the delivery. You won’t need to help unloading and the order can be placed in your garden, providing there are no access restrictions and that the delivery person doesn’t have to go through your house.
Please make sure you check the delivery with the delivery note that the driver gives you, to see if there is evidence of damaged or missing parcels.
Please check the timber, kit and slide and let us know if there are any missing parts within 7 days of delivery. The slide can be checked upon delivery as it is easy to see while it is being delivered. Each tower and module has a kit (box) with the name of tower or module, the timber for it, and a slide for towers. Please open the boxes and check with the cutting list in the instruction manual that timber is all present and in good condition (this should be done AFTER DELIVERY). Ideally, also check the contents of the kit against the parts list in the manual, BEFORE INSTALLATION. It is very rare that there is something missing in the boxes from Jungle Gym, but please do this for the main components.
Any shortages, damages or non-delivery must be reported in writing to Active Garden as soon as possible. Any claims made after this date will only be considered at the discretion of the Jungle Gym stockists.
If there are any access restrictions please contact us to discuss this, or explain it to the delivery company when they ring you to book in a date. We will endeavour to meet your needs.
The delivery service is kerbside, they items might not be placed in your garden, this is to the driver’s discretion. Drivers are NOT INSURED to go through houses for deliveries.
How this is delivered:
The delivery consists of, for each climbing frame/module:
- Timber (it will be almost literally in a pile, as they get it off the van by hand by breaking up the pallet, so they “pile it up” where you indicate or put the pallet in your drive).
- Slide, if applicable
- Box: this is the box that contains everything that is not timber or slide, such as instructions, handgrips, ladder rungs, screws, bolts, flag, bolt caps, rocks etc.
Please DO NOT STORE THE BOXES OUTSIDE where they can get wet and instructions can be ruined.
How to check the timber:
Inside each box is the instruction manual, please open that, and find the cutting list, to check the timber you have received.
Please note the graphics might change depending on the version of the instructions.
You only need to check the last column on the left on the boards, normally the last type of timber on the cutting list unless you are checking playhouses or playhouse modules (it will all make sense when you see the cutting list):
You need to check the column with the wider timber ONLY – ignore the other columns.
Newer instructions are simpler and no choice of sizes is given.
For playhouses and playhouse modules, on the tongue and groove section of timber (the last one on the list of timber), please check the middle column (for timber 11-13cm wide)
